Circle Survive Enjoys Freedom Of Headlining Shows
Circa Survive is in the midst of a headlining tour, and it's something the band is relishing after years of opening for other acts. Guitarist Brendan Ekstrom says he really likes how it's giving the group the opportunity to be flexible with their shows.
Singer Anthony Green adds that he likes how it's allowing the band to choose material from their entire catalog. He explains, quote, "It's really neat to go from playing one of the first songs you've ever written to playing something you've just recently written, and I'm really excited to play some of the new songs off of 'Blue Sky Noise' that we haven't played yet live." Circa Survive is wrapping up a series of North American dates with a show in Norfolk, Virginia Tuesday night. The group will launch a European tour in Hamburg, Germany on September 6th. The band will be back in the U.S. playing more shows this fall. |
