Sara Bareilles Covers Beyonce's "Single Ladies"
Sara Bareilles' cover of Beyonce's "Single Ladies" has become quite popular online. The singer said on her Twitter feed Monday, quote, "My cover of Single Ladies on Billboard.com has become their most viewed video OF ALL TIME. Good thing they never posted sleepy kitty! whew." Bareilles says she enjoys reinterpreting the songs she covers. She says, quote, "It would be hard to imagine it as a sort of doo-wop-y, voice-and-piano kind of song, so I started fooling around with that on the piano, and it ended up being something super-fun." Bareilles' new album, "Kaleidoscope Heart," is slated for release on September 7th. It features her latest single, "King Of Anything." |
