Linkin Park Signs On For VMAs
Linkin Park will continue their goodwill with MTV by performing at the upcoming MTV Video Music Awards. The network recently provided the premiere of the band's new video, "The Catalyst," and the group will follow up with their first live performance of the song at the annual awards ceremony. Singer Chester Bennington says, quote, "After two years of working on our new album, we're looking forward to sharing our first live performance of new music with our fans around the world on the 'MTV Awards.'" Linkin Park's addition to the event's lineup beefs up the rock presence. Other confirmed performers include Paramore, Florence + The Machine, Eminem, Kanye West, Justin Bieber, Drake, B.o.B., Usher, Travie McCoy, Jason Derulo and Robyn. The 2010 MTV Video Music Awards are set for September 12th, two days before Linkin Park's CD "A Thousand Suns" hits stores. |
