Bon Jovi, Brad Paisley Doing Free Concerts For The Gulf
Bon Jovi will head South next month to bring the spotlight back to Alabama coast tourism following the BP oil spill. The New Jersey rockers will headline the first of two shows on the beach in Gulf Shores, Alabama called "Concerts For The Coast." The band's October 15th show is a freebie, but fans will need a ticket for admission. Two days after Bon Jovi's concert, country star Brad Paisley will perform on Sunday, October 17th. Gulf Shores Mayor Robert Craft says, quote, "Bring your beach blanket and enjoy two incredible concerts on the pristine white sandy beaches of Gulf Shores, Alabama." For tickets and additional details, visit www.concertsforthecoast.com.
Bon Jovi and Paisley are the latest music stars to use their fame to help the region. In July, "Jimmy Buffet & Friends: Live from The Gulf Coast" attracted 35-thousand concert goers to Gulf Shores' public beach. |
