Williams' Branson Theater Welcomes New Acts Today
Andy Williams' Moon River Theater in Branson, Missouri is unveiling some new entertainment this week. Starting tonight, Williams himself will star in performances of a variety show featuring guests and family entertainment modeled on his television series of the 1960s and early 1970s. Those Monday through Saturday performances will begin nightly at 7:00 p.m. local time. Also appearing at The Moon River Theater throughout the early fall are Paul Revere & The Raiders and Bill Haley's Original Comets. The rock and roll bands will play matinees beginning at 3:00 p.m. local time. Williams' variety show and the rock and roll matinees will run today, September 2nd, through Saturday, October 23rd.
Outside of the fame that he won for his television show, Williams' hits include "Love Story," "Days of Wine and Roses," and "Moon River." Paul Revere & The Raiders are known for the chart-toppers "Good Thing" and "Hungry." Bill Haley's Original Comets were the musicians behind the iconic tune "Rock Around the Clock" and "Shake Rattle and Roll."
