Participants For Loretta Lynn Tribute CD Announced
A group of diverse singers is coming together to pay tribute to Loretta Lynn. Miranda Lambert, Faith Hill, Carrie Underwood, Martina McBride and Reba McEntire are a few of the artists that will be part of the CD release "Coal Miner's Daughter: A Tribute to Loretta Lynn." Loretta personally chose these ladies to contribute tracks to the project, along with Alan Jackson, Kid Rock, Gretchen Wilson, Lee Ann Womack, and Sheryl Crow. Others featured on the album include Steve Earle, Allison Moorer, Paramore, The White Stripes, and Lucinda Williams.
Commenting on the participants, Lynn says, quote, "I am so happy that these singers wanted to do this record. I love 'em all, and it was so great to hear all the different ways they did my hits." She adds, quote, "I hope people like it as much as I do and we sell a bunch of records!!" "Coal Miner's Daughter: A Tribute to Loretta Lynn" will be in stores on November 9th.
