Stone Sour Feeling The Live Guitars
Stone Sour is attempting to capture the live feel of their concerts on their latest album, "Audio Secrecy." Guitarist Jim Root tells IHeartGuitarBlog.com, quote, "About 90 percent of the songs were recorded at the same time [with guitarist Josh Rand]...We wanted a polished but still live-feeling record. When me and Josh started tracking live next to each other, it was cool because we would kind of lock in with each other a little bit tighter rather than me going first and then him trying to lock in with the way I play or vice versa." Root says this allows the listener to hear everything that's going on and it has a more organic feel. "Audio Secrecy" arrives today. |
