Miley Cyrus' Mom Undergoes Name Change
Miley Cyrus' mom is making it official and filing to have her first name legally changed. TMZ.com reports that Leticia Finley Cyrus filed legal papers last week to have her first name shortened to Tish. In legal paperwork, Tish says she's been known by the nickname "for as long as she can remember." Daughter Miley had her legal name changed in 2008. The 17-year-old Disney star was born Destiny Hope Cyrus but chose to make her legal name Miley Ray Cyrus. Her reason behind the change was similar to her mom's reason. Miley said, at the time, that she had been known by her stage name since childhood. |
