Rapper Snoop Dogg Announces "Doggystyle 2: The Doggumentary"
Rapper Snoop Dogg is working on the sequel to his 1993 debut album "Doggystyle." According to the "L.A. Times," the emcee makes mention of the new album in a brief video posted on YouTube. With producer Swizz Beatz, Snoop reveals that they they've recorded eight tracks for a new record called "Doggystyle 2: The Doggumentary." Snoop flashes a CD which he says -- through a string of expletives -- contains music that sounds "gangsta," "Crip," "R&B," "hard," and "mean."
Dr. Dre produced Snoop's breakthrough "Doggystyle" album which contained hits like "Gin and Juice," and "Who Am I (What's My Name)." The record sold 803-thousand copies in its first week of release. It later went on to claim Gold, Platinum, and Multi Platinum certifications. |
