1988 - Elton John sold numerous costumes and props -- including the "Pinball Wizard" boots he wore in the movie "Tommy" -- which brought in six-point-two-million dollars at an auction in London.
1990 - James Ingram's "I Don't Have The Heart" broke into the pop singles chart.
1997- LeAnn Rimes' single "How Do I Live" was certified Platinum.
1999 - Sean "Puffy" Combs and his bodyguard Paul Offered both pleaded guilty to harassment in a New York court after being charged of assaulting record company executive Steve Stoute with a champagne bottle, a chair, and a telephone.
2004 - The "Fashion Rocks" concert took place at New York's Radio City Music Hall. Pop Stars Beyonce Knowles, Alicia Keys and Avril Lavigne were among the many artists who appeared at the event, which is the launch for New York's Fashion Week.
2005 - Destiny's Child performed at the "Fashion Rocks" event in New York City. It was one of their last times singing together on TV.
2007 - Paris Hilton announced Christina Aguilera's pregnancy at Las Vegas' LAX Nightclub Saturday. Christina reportedly appeared shocked by Hilton's announcement as she had never officially confirmed rumors that she's pregnant.< |
