Santana, India.Arie To Visit "Leno" Next Week
Carlos Santana is planning a late night appearance in the lead-up to the September 21st release of his new CD "Guitar Heaven." The rocker will be joined by singer India.Arie next Thursday on NBC's "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno." Santana and Arie are expected to perform The Beatles' "While My Guitar Gently Weeps," a track that appears on the covers album. Late last month, Santana and Arie wowed crowds with their rendition of the song at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas. In the audience for the special show was George Harrison's widow, Olivia, who reportedly gave the track her stamp of approval. "Guitar Heaven" also features Santana's "Smooth" collaborator Rob Thomas and rocker Gavin Rossdale among its musical guests.
